At Murājaʿa, artificial intelligence ("AI") helps provide personalised Arabic learning experiences.

This policy explains how we use AI, what information may be processed, and what you should expect when using AI-powered features.

Murājaʿa uses AI to support your learning—not to replace your own study, judgement or critical thinking.

AI is designed to make learning Arabic more engaging by providing explanations, exercises, personalised practice and interactive conversations.

Our goal is to use AI responsibly, transparently and in a way that respects your privacy.

• simulate role-play scenarios;
• transcribe your spoken Arabic into text (speech recognition);
• generate spoken Arabic audio for words and sentences (text-to-speech);

• extract vocabulary from uploaded content;
• personalise your learning journey;
• suggest revision topics.

As Murājaʿa develops, we may introduce additional AI-powered educational features.

3. Information Processed by AI

To provide AI-powered features, Murājaʿa may process information that you choose to submit.

Examples include:

• questions you ask;
• text you type;
• uploaded documents;
• images or scanned pages of documents you upload;
• audio recordings of your speech, when you use speaking, pronunciation or live-call features;
• vocabulary lists;
• learning notes;
• quiz responses;
• prompts submitted to AI tools.

We only process the information reasonably necessary to provide the feature you requested.

Audio of your speech is processed only to generate a text transcript and is not stored by us.

4. We Do Not Train Public AI Models

Murājaʿa does not use your uploaded learning material to train public AI models.

Your learning content is processed only for the purpose of providing the educational features you choose to use.

5. AI Is Not Perfect

Although AI can be extremely helpful, it is not always correct.

AI-generated responses may occasionally:

• contain factual mistakes;
• misunderstand your question;
• generate inaccurate translations;
• produce incomplete explanations;
• omit important context;
• generate awkward or unnatural Arabic.

For this reason, AI responses should be treated as educational assistance rather than as authoritative advice.

Where accuracy is important, we encourage you to verify information using trusted educational resources.

6. Human Responsibility

You remain responsible for how you use AI-generated information.

Murājaʿa does not guarantee:

• examination success;
• language proficiency;
• perfect translations;
• perfect grammar explanations;
• completely accurate AI responses.

Learning is a collaborative process that combines your own effort with the educational tools we provide.

7. Responsible Use

When using AI features, you agree not to:

• submit unlawful material;
• upload content that infringes another person's copyright;
• attempt to generate harmful or abusive content;
• use AI features to harass or intimidate others;
• attempt to discover confidential prompts or security mechanisms;
• interfere with or abuse AI-powered systems.

Misuse of AI features may result in suspension or termination of your account.
